The Mare:
We saw Mississippi Queen SSH at Lori's dispersal sale and she immediately caught our eye. We already knew of her, being as we own her sire, but we didn't realize just how much she had matured in such a short time. She is so beautiful, with the softest bronze-colored eyes and a matching coat. She has flawless conformation and an excellent working attitude. We left her that day, but returned more than once after that to visit with her. After a couple days, we put in our offer and was thrilled it was accepted. Her lines cover a variety of disciplines, so it will be interesting to see how she matures and just what she has a talent for.
The Lineage:
Mississippi Queen SSH's pedigree consists of some of the greatest Morgans to walk in HF. Her sire, HOF Cajun King CH, is a multiple World Champion and competes in both western and hunter pleasure. His foals have quickly made names for themselves (and him), especially in the Half-Arabian arena. Cajun's sire and dam were two of the top Morgans of their day. Queen's dam, Perpetual Motion SSH, is by the great Kinetic, a stallion who made it to the top and stayed there as a show horse and sire with Windblown LTD. Perpetual Motion is out of none other than the great 2006 world champion mare Go Figure.
