When the opportunity to purchase this full sister to the great Hickstead presented itself we found that we could not simply walk away. Juliet was a super show jumping prospect who was tragically injured in a barn fire leaving her both physically and mentally scarred. Her unnatural looks and strange flighty personality made finding her a home very difficult and she faced euthanazia but it was quickly decided that we would bring her to Alnwick and allow her to live her life in a field with our other mares and see just how much peace she could find in a natural setting.
