"Mika" is a very docile and sweet-natured mare, and she is very brave and has a lot of heart while competing. She is one of our first Show Jumping mares, and we couldn't be more proud of so great a start. Her natural talent runs deep, so there is little our training can do save for refining these inborn skills.
Looking at her pedigree, though, one might automatically assume her to belong to our dressage team. However, it was discovered early on that she had an immense talent for jumping. She has been training solely in showjumping since then and is a real example of the intended dual-talent of the Hanoverian breed in both dressage and show jumping.
Also, we have returned her to her registered name although she had a previous career under the show name "Lady Outlawed" in AllSIM.

About The Sire: MANITU is a RL 1974 bay Elite Hanoverian stallion who was imported the the United States in 1978. He is currently standing at Hickory Ridge Farm (a RL farm). He has established a reputation of producing winning dressage mounts and is listed as the 5th Leading Sire of Horse of the Year qualifiers. His sire is MATADOR, who is also the paternal great-grandsire of the ever-popular DONNERHALL, an international and Olympic dressage competitor. His damsire is the Thoroughbred stallion, WAIDMANNSDANK who stood in Germany and produced many winning sporthorses.
About The Dam: PIKABO is presumed to be a SIM mare. She is a full-sister to RL stallion PIK IMMER and is sired by PIK SENIOR, a 1978 stallion standing at the State Stud in Hanover, Germany, who is by one of my personal favorite sires, PIK BUBE I. PIK BUBE I was both a successful dressage mount and a successful dressage sire. His offspring are very much in demand in Germany and throughout the world. They are considered to be some of the most elite dressage lines today, especially when his daughters are crossed with Donnerhall. Her damsire is the Thoroughbred stallion, SOLDO, who stud at the Landgestuet Celle Stud from 1972 to 1982 and produced several winning sporthorses.
