"Cole" was a very successful racer in his youth although his race records have been lost. He is hope to be as successful in the breeding shed as he was on the tracks. His pedigree may not be the more 'commercial' lines in the Thoroughbred industry, but the talent of both his sire and his dam is undeniable, and he has clearly inherited the best of both. His less common lines combined with his outstanding talent make him an excellent cross for a majority of SIM broodmares.
Cole's singular flaw is that he can often be a handful, and many of his offspring tend to inherit this fiesty nature. However, it is not at all meanspiritedness, just lots of playfulness. Proper handling can focus all this excess energy into an unbeatable race machine.
Cole's sire, LOST CODE, a G1 winner with a record of 27-15-5-2 and earnings of over $2 million. He is a son of G1 winner CODEX who was the first horse to win a Triple Crown race for trainer D. Wayne Lukas.
Cole's dam, COMEDY ACT, is also a G1 winner with a record of 28-7-8-4 and earnings of over $490,000. She is sired by G3 winner SHECKY GREENE who was named the 1973 Champion Sprinter
