"Freya is an incredible asset to our program, providing such a solid foundation on which to base our program. We acquired her very much to our surprise in early 2005 as a seasoned Grand Prix showjumper. In fact, she had received the SILVER MEDAL for showjumping in the 2004 OLYMPICS. Wow! We couldn't believe our incredible luck in finding that she had been rehomed to the Committee after her former owner, Missy, left the game. It's no wonder that we were eager to acquire this mare!
During the Olympic tryouts in 2004, Freya emerged on the showjumping scene late and fresh-faced, but she quickly established herself to be amongst the best. Despite missing some of the earliest qualifiers, she was among the select few invited to compete in Athens, where she stole away with the silver medal.
Although some would argue that a mare of such obvious quality should retire at the "peak of their career" to pass on their obviously superior genetics, we feel that Freya has much more to give and is just in her prime. She will compete with us for a couple years yet before retirement is even considered."



Pedigree:
FAST FELLOW is a RL aged stallion, 1968, of relative unimportance. He sired some racers and show mounts, but most are relatively unknown. He is by the race winner, IMBROS, who is a direct son of the influential sire, POLYNESIAN. This makes FAST FELLOW a grandson to POLYNESIAN, which is a far closer relation than most modern Thoroughbreds can claim!

PINK VIEW is NOT a RL horse. Her sire is MARLON, a Thoroughbred stallion who stood in Germany from 1965 to 1981 for the Holsteiner breed and was a very prolific sporthorse producer. In fact, his name shows up in the pedigrees of some of the top international showjumpers. PINK VIEW's dam, LONELIGHT's, pedigree is equally as impressive; she is a full sister to LADYKILLER, who is considered to be one of the most influential jumping sires of all time, especially on the Holsteiner breed.
