Angel is a full sister to the legendary Sunday Silence. While shes a slightly smaller mare measuring in at just 15.3 hands she has the heart of a winner. Angel trained extensively in her 2 year old year but in her first start a stumble leaving the gate quickly ended all hope of a racing career. Since her retirement she has been bounced from home to home noone really wanting her.
When we saw her ad on the internet it was decided that we would atleast go look at her. We didnt have much hope of bringing her home she just wasnt what we were looking for in our breeding program. But her breeding was worth atleast a look.
Angel impressed us from the word go. Shes smaller than the rest but she doesnt know that. She is alpha mare in the herd over many much bigger broodmares. The fire in her eyes is unmistakeable we knew right there that she would be coming to join our broodmare band.
It was later learned that Angel Eyes is infoal to the great Giant's Causeway that tiny peice of information sealed the deal and we purchased her on the spot.
